Just a question
I love my centre pin fishing and I have a few pins to use
but it got me thinking ( dangerous I know)
I have a couple of rods that I use but these are just softer carp rods and work perfectly well BUT !

I have seen a few rod builder that make rod specifically for centre pins
but are there any off the shelf centre pin rods and what differences are there between a normal rod and a rod made for centre pin fishing ?

The biggest change really is having an extra ring or two between the reel seat and butt, which is an easy mod to a standard rod. If you go the custom route you can also go a lot smaller with rings on the lower half as you don't need to control that cone of line.
I can't really recommend any rods as the ones I use are custom
