I had a mk1 system and then a mk2 system and both were spot on, no leaks whatsoever, a mate had the same and didn't have any issues with either if his.

I have had one of the original brollies for years, still going strong, doesn't leak and it's very well used.

To be fair to Fox they did spend an absolute fortune with a Swiss cheese manufacturer getting the material just right.

Ok. They brought out the SupaBrolly. A large proportion of those leaked from the bell cap. So they brought out the mk2 supabrolly. Absolutely loads of those leaked from the terrible material. I've got mates who had to return LOADS through their shop. Do a search. There's guys on here who had three or four attempts at getting a good one then gave up. So then they brought out the Ultimate brolly. Blah blah blah.
Hmmmmmmm bit of a pattern developing here. Maybe you'll get a good one. Maybe you won't. If you get a pony one, good luck dealing with foxes customer service.

My MKI didn't leak so much, it was the ultra thin transparent material it was made of that was the problem. The first summer I had it I knew I'd done a wrong-un. I remember it as if it was yesterday, I felt like the wicked witch of the west from the Wizard of Oz.. I'm melting. Actually needed sunglasses inside my bivvy!
Yeah, fox customer services, what a fun bunch of guys they are, so helpful and bend over backwards to help you in your moment of need. Bunch a cnuts.

Just to add to the confusion.
I bought a mk1 when they first come out and it's still going strong and used regularly.
Several mates bought them on my recommendation.
Every one was utter rubbish and either leaked or fell to bits.
I thought I had the only good one. At least 3 then 😎
