Close in has always been more productive for me than in the middle of the pond mate. Shelves off very quickly so margins can be shallower and give a good opportunity. Seems to fish well on the wind with linear style tactics of decent beds of bait, i think the fishery is sponsored by DNA now so it will see alot of there bait go in. Adjustable zigs can work well in the deeper areas.

Choice of peg 😂😂😂😂I very much doubt you'll get a choice ...only couple times we went , caught close in.......... pegs are too close for my liking ,way too busy ... guess I've been spoilt, not for me.

Was there last week mate, most fish coming out to zigs around 14/15ft in the deeper section of the lake.
Was absolutely rammed when I was there- never seen a place like it!

That's why I'll never go back, every time I've been I've had some noisy moron rock up next door , pegs are quite close anyway. Typical free access venue chasing ££££££‘S ...not for me 😂

Did a 48-hr social for a mates 50th last Friday/Saturday night......2 Carp and a Pike out between 14 of us on the Railway bank...... 
......there were a few reasonable hits elsewhere around the lake either face onto the wind or off the back of it.
Lots of low lying silkweed made presentation very difficult. Margins slope off quickly to between 12 & 16ft at about 20/30 yards.
It is what it is, Pegs far too close together.....wont be rushing back

I wouldn't fish it again. Booking pegs on a venue like that with no chance of a move. You could put yourself acres from any fish so there's no point in going. You only have to look at he fb page to see that it's Peggy It's a bit of a joke. Yet it's booked to full I don't get it ???

not been in afew years but sounds like it has change alot since i was last there. Wasnt rammed and got to walk around/pick a peg. Ill have to give it a miss then.

Hi guys im on double swim 33 next sunday for a week yes another f up france trip fail i've never been before so virgin on this lake is there a best side of the double peg ?
any spots to each side ? my mate has been before i've not dont want to get stuck in the **** side
