I'm looking for 1500 yards of 80lb and 1500 yards of 50lb of 8 strand to reload on my reels. I'd prefer it to be multi colored due to style of angling I'm using it for. The Daiwa is so expensive! Can anyone recommend any of the much cheaper alternatives that come up on eBay?

have a look on the tacklebox website, not sure if they had 1500 but they were selling 300m for £20 I bought some 80lb in green and some 40lb for lure fishing

Sorry I didn't say I need a minimum of 500 yard spools. They only do 300m but a good price.

I might be speaking a bit late for you but I got an intro offer from wish and bought a load of J braid for real good prices. Luckily my boy had recently bought some from there and it was genuine so I just followed on. Worth a look.

Cheers Baza, never even heard of Wish! Signed up and got sorted with Spectra Braid, I've used it before so no worries there, at a price I'm happy with
