Fished it a similar time last year, we had very mixed weather, torrential rain followed by a couple of warm days. The most fish came from the shallower side fishing clear areas in amongst the weed. Deeper end didn't fish well, and although everyone caught, the most were definitely caught from the shallower side. That said I would fish to the conditions, and don't be afraid to move after 24hrs if nothing is happening

I've been quite a few times now. There's plenty in there but it can be tricky dependant on conditions. We had a couple of nights in late October a few years back and only had 3 between the 5 of us.
This Summers trip however resulted in 40+ bites.
Fish it like you would anywhere... read the conditions and fish accordingly with what you are confident in.
