Am I losing it, I was just reading the National Rod Fishing byelaws for something to do and came across this:-
"Lead weights
You must not use any form of lead weight attached to a fishing line other than those of 0.06g (size No. 8) or less, or of more than 28.35g (1 ounce).
This does not include lead incorporated into a weighted line, swim-feeder or fishing fly or lure."
I know there has been a ban on lead weights of a certain size for years, but am I misreading this because my interpretation is, you cannot use lead weights over 1oz now, if so, when did that creep in?
Lead incorporated into a weighted line, I read as the likes of a heavy fly line or lead core.
I always thought the ban was from 0.06g up to 1oz, not over 1oz as what is being stated here, or is it a misprint on the GOV website?

But doing a check, its contradicted by what is correct on another GOV web page so it does look like a typo, nothing like spreading confusion:-

Your right, I have lost it. It makes sense now that I have reread it. Maybe it's that "comma" after the word "less" that's scrambling the sentence up in my brain.
