I've got an ss2600 for my floater set up and have seen bearing upgrade kits, there is one with 4 bearings in, the other is just a single bearing for the worm shaft. Are either worth doing, and if so are they easy enough to do?

I was told by Garry at Custom Reels that the worm shaft is worth doing to prevent wear on the shaft so it's more for preserving the life of the reel than anything else.
Interested to hear about the other bearings. Presumably they replace plastic bushes?

PS haven't got round to doing worm shaft bearing yet but looks very easy to do

Yeah it does, that's getting done for sure but I'm assuming the kit with 4 bearings includes that too?
