After watching the recent korda podcast, I decided to take a look at the latest sonik rods. Not a brand I've ever really associated with ‘proper' rods, but from what I've managed to see on YouTube I think they actually look pretty decent for the money.

Has anyone actually got a set of the XT 12ft 3.5 and can give me any real world feedback.

My rods are knocking on twenty years old now and I think they might need retiring soon. So I need to start having a look around.

You might want to hold on and check out the new Frank Warwick Gravity X (the only initial down side is that they have an Alps reel seat ) theres a glimpse on here
