Just bought some jag 2+1's for my birthday and want a couple of adjustable bank sticks to get them up and running. I can see jag do 6" all the way up to 18" and having never used anything other than a pod I'm lost as to which would be best to go with.
I tend to like a low profile so I was thinking 10" as they will expand to 14" (if I remember correctly). Any suggestions or does this sound about right?

I would go 8" and 10". 8"at the front if you want rods level (allowing for buzzers), or if you want them angled position accordingly.
If ground is very soft where you normally fish I would go 10" and 12".

I use the black so slightly different lengths. My go to banksticks for pretty much everything Is x2 11”. I've got a couple of 15” that I carry split in my rucksack and a couple of 9” tucked into my buzz bar bag. These rarely get used to be honest as over the last few years I've used stagebites more and more so my compact pod sees less use.

Both really helpful, thanks. I hadn't. Thought about accounting for the alarm at the front so that's helpful.

It's often a little softer at the front so even with the alarms on you can still use the 12" at the front and then the slightly shorter at the back.

12" extendable banksticks will cover most situations but its always worth having a couple of cheap longer sticks in your rod bag I case you need them.

I got them from browns angling. I just googled the phrase and started making my way down the list, they only had 2 rear and 1 front in stock. I got the ss version as I prefer the look. They are lovely.
