New to the forum and returning to carp fishing after a ~12 year break.
My reels look like they could do with a decent service. I would rather not have to send them off and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for shops/individuals in the Cambridgeshire area who could service a couple of old tournaments and emblems?

Not overly local, but i have used Rob Nunn who is based just your side of Ipswich.... good guy and great service

Googling seems to bring him up via snowys bait and tackle? Will give them a shout.

He did my tournaments reels recently and im much more impressed with how they have performed than when i had them serviced before by custom reels, and much more reasonable cost

Just be careful who you choose, sent some old baitrunners away last year, despite all the good reviews from the guys site, they still feel ....rough.
I know you dont want to post, but 'the tackle box' have a great rep.

Yep, just looking. The tackle box will arrange collection for you with a courier it seems - which is even more convenient/lazy! Will give them a bell I think.

Called the Tackle Box yesterday and they were fantastic.
Arranged a courier for this morning to collect from home and should be back with me in around a week. Excellent service so far. Just waiting for courier to come collect them.
