I have got a FOX RX PLUS that after a few hours turns it self off, a bleep on the alarm will cause it to switch off and the receiver to register that it has switched off.

Tried the usual, swapping the batteries, I have opened it up and it looks fine inside compared to a fully working one.

Its past its warranty date so I have contacted Fox who have said I need to pay post it to Belgium to have it looked at.

pretty sure you may be covered under some consumer rights in relation to it not being fit for purpose. May be worth researching. Cant imagine posting to belgium will be that expensive, and heard that fox aftersales is actually pretty good now. Not tested that theory myself though.

I sent an ntxr back to an address in Essex,the service was superb.They sorted the rubber case and issue with alarm switching off f.o.c

Unfortunately I have no come back on the sales of good act or anything else.

I went to see Dale Henwood (Dale Eectronics) as he's really close to me. What a really nice bloke, showed me around his work shop and gave me some great advice which meant he wouldn't earn any money but was the best option for me.

I wouldn't hesitate to send my alarms to Dale if you do need to get them repaired.

Good call, that's worth making a note of.

Out of interest are fox still repairing the older alarms like the NTXR since I have a set of those, or is it now a case of just third party repair services?
