Great lake, for me the best lake on the complex. I've only ever fished it early season as think the weed gets quite bad later on (no idea what its like this year). I always use cell @ abbey, just because they see lots of it. Rupert did a write up of all the pegs when he ran it if you can try to find them online, I like the back bank but its also the loudest with the trains - if you haven't experienced them before you are in for a shock
I havent fiahed it since they started to take the cats out but they used to be a pain, loads of big ones and because of them tended to not bait heavily.

It's deep in most areas, no chat, maybe a few crays as they y are in every other lake. Weed isn't too bad this year apparently, I was out there a month ago on another of the lakes but had a good walk round kingy most days. There's are a few tench etc but not many. The cats aren't there in as great numbers as they used to be (unfortunately) so shouldn't cause you too many issues. As said the far bank is the one, but those trains......

You have to get food from the clubhouse, no swim delivery, its very good. Or there is a decent little supermarket 5 mins up the road by car, good food and very cheap beer.
