Hi, I'm looking to replace my old bivvy and I'm wondering which of the above shelters would be more suitable with the Solar Sp c tech wide bedchair. Thanks

The trakker is deeper and better made.......... 235 deep x 250 wide
Hide XL not as deep but bit wider .......... .........210 deep x 280 wide

so depends where you want the room in front of the bed or at each end

I have both and your get a wideboy bedchair in either no problem

can you say which one is best in your opinion and why ? would be very interested as your probaly the only person to OWN and use both

Hi, thanks for the replies. I would be looking to push the bedchair as far back as possible leaving room in front of it.

Out of the two I would go for the Hide XL for the width, I find my bedchair is a bit snug in a V2 Tempest unless it is pulled forward and that is 20cm wider...

I have the tempest 100t and a good freind who I fish with has the hide xl

Even he is tempted to sell his hide xl and buy the 100t the tempest is so much better made, he has had nothing but problems with his hide, been returned once already and now has another problem with the second one

Like mentioned before the tempest is deeper which for me is better for what I wanted

For me the Hide XL as it's has more or a flat back and it's just that bit wider and the bedchair doesn't touch the material at either end where as I've found it does on the Tempest 100T if both shelter are set up on tension strap height

Someone who knows if the Tempest 100T is bigger on the inside than the Quest Outer Block Bivvy?

Quest Outer Block site says : 280x220x150cm
just set up in the garden, the inside dimensions are Width back 210, width front 250 and 210 deep...

Does anyone know the inside dimensions of the Tempest 100T?
