Toying with the idea of purchasing a versatile system as my old angling intelligence on the way out. Like the tempest but it's over 200 quid dearer that the V2 brolly system. True, it's a bit bigger, but I'm asking are those few cm's in height and depth worth another 200 quid plus?

Be interested to know people's thoughts on the respective shelters?

I have both the V2 bivvy and brolly. I think the bivvy is massive, plenty of space. If I'm only doing one night then I just take the brolly but if I'm doing a few nights then I take both as I like the extra space and comfort of the bivvy, reason I take the brolly also is because some of the swims I can't get the bivvy in. Have done a few nights in the brolly and it was ok but much prefer the bivvy for longer sessions

I have had both,still have the v2 bivvy and I wished I had stuck with the brolly if im honest.I think im going to sell the bivvy and skullcap and go back to the brolly or maybe a totally different type of shelter
