Just wondered if anyone has had original Amorphous blanks stripped and rebuilt? I have one that I'm interested in getting stripped right down and being rebuilt to match a custom built pair I've just bought but wondered if the blanks strip down well (I know Kev Clayton said my armalites were a pig to do with the weave fibres being exposed and wondered if these were similar due to the amorphous weave used in the blanks).

Anyone have any experience with those rods (AKN 12H blanks).

YES !! so be careful who you get to do it
as a mate gave his to someone and the dopey gits sanded them made a right pigs ear of them

I had 2 amorphous stripped, rebuilt by east coast rod repairs. Hes on facebook
