Bought one of these after numerous recommendations on here. Works great, but two issues - the rubber doesn't last long and replacing it is a nightmare. It feels impossible to 'shimmy' the rubber all the way to the end position (be it on the catapult or pouch end) which makes it nigh on impossible to secure it firmly.

Anyone else had this problem? How do I get the rubber all the way on?

Ps I've tried spit, oil.... Even liquid glue. Once it gets on the outside of the rubber it's a nightmare. There's gotta be an easier way

Use washing up liquid to get the elastic on goes on very easy then that's what I used when I fitted the new elastic
