Looking at joining Willesley in Ashby, I seen the thread about issues with the owners but following it on facebook it seems to be looking good...

Anyone share anymore up to date information about the place?

I was on there when red fin angling took payments for memberships then did a runner With all the cash

Rumours the place was netted and most of the bigger carp sold over the winter. I did have a 20 lbs common out on my first and only trip so they could still be in there

Nice looking lake but would never fish there again as the experience left a bad taste in my mouth

Has it now been taken over by new owners? just looks like on facebook that its in good hands with new stock been added and regular updates
