Not for a long time mate, lovely place though
Only fish i had was on a large halibutt pellet topped with fake corn at last knockings

Just got back from Hayward Pool, what a great lake with fantastic facilities and fish.
Between 3 of us we had 9 fish to 29lb losing 4 too. Quite an intimate water with only 4 swims, but plenty of water for us all.

Used to fish it when it was Rushy Lane when Mike had it, was pretty unknown back then. Too pricey and booked up for me now

Ha ha, sadly not no, but by the end of the weekend they were eating breakfast and Chinese with us lol. They were quite happy to go inside the bivvies too, even on top of a carryall I have.
Fair play to the chickens, they will eat anything. During our stay we saw no mice, rats, slugs or spiders, apparently if it's edible they eat it.

Same here mate, loved fishing there, had lake record at one point at 33.5lb
Cant knock the improvements Shane has made though, specially the toilet facilities etc

Pricey, worked out at £65 each for 48hrs, with that you are guaranteed a swim, excellent shower/ toilet, full kitchen facilities and piece of mind that no ones going to try to steal your kit.
Oh and plenty of stunning carp.

No mate credit where it is due, he's done a lot of work. It was still two seperate lakes (well, a small lake and a smaller stock pond) when I fished it so shows how long ago that was! I remember when there was only 30 or so fish in there, awesome little water.
