Hello guys! Anyone have Daiwa Infinity X45 DF rods? Can anyone tell me something about them? They are good rods for casting 150-170 yards?

In the higher test curves, properly set up these rods will cast that far. Question is, can you?
If you want to fish at these ranges, and very few anglers can, buying a set of rods is not the answer. Book some tuition from a top casting tutor and cast with a variety of rods and take his advice on the best one for you. Then practise, practise, more tuition and practise regularly. Good luck, 170 yds is a very long way.

Yes! Definitely I can assure you that i can cast at 170 yards

PS....170 yards only if i need! I'm not fishing every time at 170 yards but i wish a set of rods from Daiwa to achive that distance if i need

I have the Infinity MT evo rods in 3.75tc which are x45 blanks. Whilst I can't cast anywhere near that, they have plenty of backbone and tip recovery speed is very fast, I'm very happy with them. I'm in South Wales if you're anywhere near, more than welcome to try them out.
