I used the 18lb version on a recent trip to France fishing a lake with lots of sharp rocks, fishing ranges of up to 140 metres and it handled everything well landing fish upto 52lb with no problems even when showing signs of fraying it still had plenty of strength left, now I wouldn't say it was great line but for a cheap all purpose mono it was fine, fairly limp, and low stretch, and sinks well, it did start to twist a bit but nothing serious.

Got no idea but if you buy something else. Gardner pro clear is amazing value mono, I won't stop using it until they stop making it
