Not alot on here other than the otterr issue so thought I'd put my take on the place. It's now been fenced fwiw.

£35 a night is expensive but you are fishing for BIG Fish.

It's matured well, it's not the hole in the ground it once was. Reed lined and if you are on the railway bank it's not a bad view.

On the subject of the railway, apart from being woken early morning by them I quite like seeing them wizz by.

The Huts - I'm in my bivvy because of Covid. I prefer this. It would be good to use both maybe. Cook and fishing gear in the Huts, sleep in the bivvy.

Rats - not seen any this trip but they can be bad, bloke a few swims down has seen "loads"

Overall I'm quite impressed for a day ticket.

Well stocked shop and the two cans of cold beer I bought where a god send in today's hot sun.

The draw system is a pain. Probably the best way but I'd rather be allowed down for 30 mins and have a watercraft draw as opposed to picking a peg blind - this is the best thing they could do to.improve imo.

No fish yet but it's not a easy water.
