What do people think of these. Unsure if to get a skullcap or the wrap. The skullcap in summer works well to create a bit extra shade and i dont really wanna bu lugging around the wrap.

I'm annoyed that they aren't full wraps. if you have a brolly and are going to the trouble of extra cover
you are probably going to have to buy the infill as well.

can the skull cap be left on and not make it tricky to erect?

I've got one. Depends what you want really. The skull cap provides some shade, stops condensation where it covers the main brolly, the peak offers a degree of protection but could do with having a longer projection. I take mine off as I find it only takes a minute or two to throw it over and tighten the straps. If I was using it in the winter the full wrap will probably help more with any condensation. For the warmer months I don't think the skull cap adds much. I have the infill as well which is great when those summer storms blow straight into your swim.

Cheers. Im thinking to leave it as is. Quick and uncluttered. Longer sessions or bad weather expected, tske the pioneer.

I personally think these are a great idea, I've been using my tempest 100t since they came out in January with a skull cap on in some very cold minus conditions and been fine inside it with the infill panel and skull cap, the only condensation I ever got thought the winter and the summer months was on the sides so the skull wrap will help, me and a few friends have all ordered the skull wrap to match the tempest we have

I will definitely be going for one of these on my 150 which is my session/France bivvy and selling the standard skull cap and inner dome....👍
