I've been offered an (almost) new Tempest v2 XL bivvy system for 360 quid. I'm currently in the market for a shelter that can occasionally fit a second bedchair and this seems like a very good option, but I can hardly find any reviews of this bivvy, although it seems to have been around since 2014. Also, all accessories are sold out everywhere, which is clearly a downside. It looks awfully similar to the new Tempest 150 though (same dimensions give or take 5cm) so I wonder if the wrap would fit...
Does anybody have experience (good or bad) with this particular Tempest? Do or don't?

Its a Tempest, same as all the rest just bigger. You can pick up second hand wraps and cap's easily enough, its bullet proof.

I've got an xl and love it also got a tempest air but the xl is all singing and dancing and much larger, the latest tempest versions are ask ally the same just more vents which in my opinion is overkill

Thanks mate, I went for it, gust got it and love it already. Can't wait to get it out on the bank. Only downside I can see right now it's heavy as ... due to the aquatexx - but probably worth it

Cheers mate. I've scanned the market and it looks like getting a wrap for a reasonable price will be hard. Lots of people looking for one. But managed to find a front new almost half price, and Trakker have confirmed the cap off the new Advanced 150 fits the XL no problem. So I should be fine - well see

hey guys can I ask if it's possible to fit 2 person in there? Should be enough for 2 beds and a tackle table, cooker etc in between.

Having played around with two beds in large in one many bivvys in the past i found the problem is
Depth. Check out the depth of the bivvy vs the length of the bedchairs.
You can angle them so your heads are close together but the foot ends are apart to give you a channel
But even then you can find it pushes the bivvy material out at the front.

Thanks for the helpful reply, to be honest i don't really mind if the bed chairs would push a bit at the front.
I was looking for the 200 but I find it to big as we still wanna have it cozy.
Might just look for shorter be chairs
