Hi all,
I'm looking to get a new bivvy or shelter that is small and easy to move but will fit two bedchairs when my other half joins me for a session. It has to be quite compact as I mostly fish a park lake with super tight swims. Also, we don't need a lot of space as she doesn't fish so doesn't need too get out quickly at night - no aisle required.
I've been looking at the Avid Ascent 1 man which looks like it could the bill, and good value for money. I also like the looks of the Wychwood Tactical, but that would be pushing it with two bedchairs I guess. Ah, and I can't go much beyond 400 quid - need to get a second bedchair, too (that one is settled, defo Wychwood Tactical)
Any advice much appreciated!

Tempest brolly with utility front. I can fit my wide bed and my boys Cyprinus compact (Wychwood tactical copy) in easily with the front on and theres plenty of room to spare in front.

Of course it up to you but be warned the wychwood bed is very hard

Thanks mate - looks like a good combo. Do you happen to know if the utility front can be used together with the overwrap? Slightly worried about condensation

Cheers - I've got the tactical wide and don't mind that it is a bit hard. Planning to get the compact and let my wife have the wide boy

Not nit picking but your Cyprinus compact is like the EARLY Wychwood bed
but not like the 2019 versions that now have adjustable lumbar support different all together even 1kg heavier too now

I don't know to be honest, I've used it without a wrap year round and had no problems.
