Hello all im looking at buying one of these to reels but just wondering if anyone as reviews on them both before i buy them. i have heard the xtd as alot of plastic on it and seems cheap inside line clip isnt to gd. and only really heard good things bout the daiwa 45

I have the 45s and they are nice pretty decent, line lay and drag are both reasonable. If you want some good reels though get the penn affinity 2, they are considerably better than the daiwa, and I've no doubt the shimano too

My dad's got the 45's and rates them
