Seeing as our French trip has been scuppered, and reading the government sites we are still able to transition through France! Would anybody have any recommendations for maybe a public/private lake in northern Italy? Or similar area?
Unfortunately I am unable to move my leave as my leave is rostered at work so flexibility is non existent 😢 I'd like to try and make the most of my 2 weeks and not fish in a rammed lake in this country!

parco del brenta?
Unsure whether it is still open but it seems to be the place to go at the moment (if you can get there and get on!)

Public lakes, you can find lake Viverone not far from Turin, it's a big natural lake with a big stock of cars, here some info.

Pusiano is another lake, it has 28 swims where you can fish, I think you need to book a swim from their web site.

I'm sorry it's in Italian, I haven't found anything in English.
Both lakes hold big Carps and, imo it's better to have a boat to fish properly
Edit. I'm not able to put a working link on here
