Does anyone know what a tackle shop would roughly charge to reattached the top tip? I managed to snap the top inch of my rod and im not particularly fussed in it being an inch shorter so wondered what the cost would be to reattach the eye or to fit a new one? I know I could give it a go myself but would rather someone do it properly than me probably messing it up!

Just use epoxy resin and do it yourself that's what a tackle shop will use

Most good tackle shops will do it for free in 2 minutes. Or do it yourself using a stick of hot melt glue and a lighter.

Cheers, I'll run it up my local this weekend and see what they say

very easy to do yourself, use a lighter to heat the old eye up and remove the 1 inch section and use araldite to glue it back on
