If you had a 15 acre lake with nothing else in it apart from the usual silvers and Pike (a few big ones but mainly Jacks) and you chucked 300 Carp in it all around 4lb how many Carp do you think the lake would hold 10 years down the line?

Are the big pike big enough to take 4lb carp? That's your deciding factor I think, baring otters or other fish kills.

Lost to what? In this instance the Pike or other factors?
What about re-population from spawning? I know the amount of fish that come through is minuscule though.

I would rather stock at a little larger than 4lb. The pike may be more of a problem than you might expect.

At 4lb the fish are.probably just a bit too big for cormorants to eat but they can still smash them around enough to have them die from their injuries.

The initial stocking can be stressful and cause some fish issues and then just the normal reasons for mortality after that. I wasn't given advice on fish of a size prone to pike predation.
It's not that you'll definitely lose 5% every year, just that you need to be prepared for it, mentally if nothing else. It's funny how quickly you get used to losing a fish or two, the first few times feels like it's going to break you.

Way over stocked @300 fish try half or a third of that, maybe you could go for 8lb stock?

I've done plenty of buying and stocking carp, my GUESS is (excluding otter predation) about 100/150

No it is'nt. How do i know? Because the stock went in 12 years ago as described, those who commented about loss numbers were spot on, 5 of those fish are over 50 now
I thought it interesting to see what lake owners like Andy would say as they know a lot of stuff.

Based on the amount of 30's, lack of Otters and the water/food source quality id say min 180 max 225.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was less than 180 though, it's not really an issue as growth rates sort of prove that nature has come to it's own balance.
