I freeze my maggots after I have been cosrse fishing and but them in my ground bait or loose feed nect time I go. Question is would they be any good in spomb mix or pva bag etc when I go for carp?

Of course yeah.
Never known a water where the carp wouldn't eat maggot
They'll draw in all types of fish so be prepared to maybe have to be patient with silvers, bream etc.
