Hi

We're off to France next Friday and the campsite we're staying at has a small lake with carp up to 30lb (allegedly!)

I'm normally sat on a river picking up bream\barbel etc so looking to get a couple of budget rods purely for this trip. I'm thinking around the 3lb TC and ideally under £50 each

Looking around there seems to be a bit of a stock issue at the moment but found somewhere that has a couple of Prologic Classics 12ft 3lb for £40 each.

Are these any good or are there any suggestions for any other rods I should be considering

Not 12ft but TF Gear compact commercial 10ft 2.5lb TC rods cracking rods for the money £35 each from TF Gear ebay shop

If space is any issue or you're flying etc. Have a look at the ngt travel carp rods.

I have some for packing away as they are 4 piece, to be fair, for how cheap they are or were, feel very good. I got 2 for about the price on the one linked below, but seems they are hard to find at the moment

Thanks both, I'll be driving there so space isn't such an issue but will check out your suggestions.
