HELP....... Decisions Decisions on what to buy..... Jag or Solar Stainless rod pod???

I've had both, solar sod mk1 and mk2 both great for 2 rod but a little unbalanced with 3 rod unless you added the triposts. Can't comment on the world wide stainless but had the A1 version, it's solid and light but not massively adjustable and for me personally stands too high.
I have a jag compact316 adjustable, this covers everything for me personally, single sticks or buzzbars and sticks or a low level pod, both brands are made to last in stainless, both company's customer service are excellent having dealt with both.
Don't think you can go wrong with either really although I will say the jag needs the screws done tight or they can come loose.

Same choice I'm about to make, leaning toward the a1 gt as its low profile only 6" legs think it will do the job fine and less than half the cost of the p1.

You will struggle to get your tips down with the a1 pod as theres no where near enough adjustment with the short legs.

Had a sod pod when i started out and still got it. Had a world wide and sold it for the jag mk2 and prefer the jag. So compact and does everything. The build quality and finish of the jag stainless is in a different league to solar. The solar stainless looks like it has been made in someones shed compared to jag. I still love my original sod pod mind.

They are both good pods had the old worldwide and now I've got the 316 compact if it was my choice I'd go for the jag purely because of the upright sticks you can put into the ground making it more stable and it packs down better sticks and buzzbars in pouch and pod base in side of my rucksack

Jag compact is a great pod, covers every situation you need it for, expensive, but very well built and made to last!
