Thinking of taking my mate next year for his 60th for a week, is this place any good lads?

Lots of rules that you will need to comply with before you go braided mainline etc very busy very expensive

Place is a dump since the new owners took over. All about money now, certain swims 45 quid for 24 hours. Packed full of cats in every lake, the carp fishing has taken a back seat. Rumour has it that the lakes got netted when the old owner left and he took all the bigguns, nowhere near the stock quoted on the website

Sounds like its best avoided, could you suggest anywhere as an alternative?

I just wanted to surprise my mate and treat him for a week. Be nice if I could find somewhere nice, clean, on site facilities and a chance of a lump or two 👍

If your specifically looking in that area frogmore fishery would be a suggestion same sort of set up used to be called tanyards

Can't really help unfortunately with places for such a long stay. I know willow park in Surrey has showers and so does orchid lakes in Oxfordshire but those are the only 2 I can think of to be honest. Beware though Orchid is extremely weedy, some swims to the point of being unfishable. Sorry I can't be of more help

I've found Crowgreen fishery which looks like it ticks most of the boxes, just need to phone and book it.
