Korum do a straight and tappered night light set i am using Fox warrior 2.75lb test curve carp rods for big river barbel fishing does anyone know if they fit as look to small

After trying a few different options I found the best to be these they easily last a season on a set of batteries

ONLY thing I will mention and god knows why but a friend bought red ones and they eat batteries green dont though

my eyesight is great and I can tell when I get a bite the rod tip slams over
and these are battery powered super bright

I suppose it wouldn't happen with two rods together but I've always found the eyes play tricks on you with one light. It's good to have a second light 18ish inches back for reference

The trick is not to look directly at the light, but slowly let your eyes wander "around" it.

It's never been a problem with a float as it's either there or it isn't, watching a rod tip though with the light in your peripheral vision it can seem to jump when you move your eyes a bit, having two gives a point of reference and stops it. There have been tons of articles over the years giving that tip

as mentioned I never stare at the tip I can look at the water or surroundings but the moment the tip gets a bite you can instantly see it in your peripheral vision also I suppose it is like having two lights as I never am directly behind my rods more to the side so I do kinda have ref points as per the picture below

Yeh with the two rods you have a reference
For the op, not used the korum ones but the enterprise ones work well, the carp size will fit

Cheers guys i went with the enterprise in the end.
I did look at your link Jerry and nearly brought but sometimes fish swims i don't want to give away . Also hope your not fish tidal waters as you might get nicknamed the harbour master

they each come complete with 2 holders to suit different tip thickness you can whip them on or tape or glue then the lights just slide on or off I found them a bit bright so painted them black with just the tip of the light exposed and they are great
