Hi all,

Getting back into carping and not long moved into woodley area and found Redlands is only a few minutes from my house.

Can't find much info on the water online. Any one ever fished it?

Is it a difficult water ? Any info appreciated?

I fished it years ago, run by south lake angling societyif I recall. I know it suffered from the floods in the past but pretty sure they have a fence up now to stop escapees. It was like any lake really, get on the fish and they were catchable.
Opposite side of the road you have the causeway lake (twyford and district) or there is also whistley mill lake on the reading ticket a stones throw away. The other side of the railway line behind redlands you have twyford reserve run by dinton pastures. They all hold good fish. A lot of good waters local to you.

Thanks for the info.

It is on the Southlake ticket. I've read about the causeway in terry hearn's second book. Didn't realise Twyford reserve was amongst the lakes. I'm probably closer to dinton pastures itself but little expensive for me to justify currently.

Yes redlands is on the southlake ticket.
The causeway had a decent stock a few years ago, not sure about nowadays, once again due to past floods.
Twyford reserve has been run by dinton pastures for several years now.
