Good Morning All,
I hope someone here can help me, the Fox Retreat+1 Man elastic snapped between two poles.
Now i was going to try and fix this with the Trakker Pole Elastic Kit, but according to Angling Direct the whole bivvy will have to be sent back to Fox for them to repair.
Has anyone had a similar situation? And able to just repair using the kit? Or will i have to fork out and ship the bivvy back to Fox, which wouldn't be a cost effective process.
Any thoughts.

Makes zero difference, all bar 2 of the elastics have snapped in my Tempest, still goes together fine.
Just live without it rather than got to all the cost and inconvenience of sending it back...

I do understand that, it does make little difference. Just being a tart, and found that sometimes the pole does unclip when erecting unless under tension. You could easily repair your tempest for £10 with the kit, takes a minute to do. So easy, but not sure if the Fox Bivvy is the same set up internally, hence the question.
Just a bit annoyed it snapped, when it has only just come out of warranty. - Typical!

Did you have any luck with this? I've got a snapped elastic on a 2 man. Used 4 times only....

My tempest was an nightmare with the elastics snapped. Putting it up was like spinning plates, always one pole falling out.
Replacing them took 5 mins and was very much worth it.

As a follow up you can use the Trakker replacement pole elastics on the Fox Retreat bivvies. I did mine this morning and they work really well....
