I have a tempest V2 brolly but can't find a utility front anywhere.

I have found a localish tackle shop that has a v1 in stock, but they said it's a different shade green?

Does anyone know how different it is? It's to far to simply pop in.

The other alternative is to get a cyprinus version, which they are currently selling cheap because they are labelled carpstar. I'm not overly keen on the carpstar option really.

cyprinus ones are for the bivvy, not the brolly....

V1 is a normal olive green, like most luggage & brollys etc... V2 is more khaki green

I still use a V1 skull cap and UF on a V2 brolly - and they are very different colours - if that bothers you then I'd hold out for the V2 UF ....that said, I only ever use my UF on the odd occasions my wife or one of the kids wants to come along - so not a biggie - and the odd colour on my skull cap doesn't seem to bother me - at least not enough to justify buying the V2 colour.
