Hi all.

Just wondering if anyone has recommendations for a 3/4 piece rod?

Nothing serious, just for occasional use on family holidays.

Hi bud,

I bought a pair of Fox Rage Prism X Travel Power Spin Rod - for fishing on holiday in Mallorca last year. Really nice rods for a 4 piece. Think they were around £80 a pop. Cast a bit, play a bit, and pack down really tight, well within normal suitcase territory.

I use the Nash Sawn off in 3lb, had carp to 28 and Pike to 12 without any problem, packs down nice and small, easy to set up and the handy rod bag/case thing is good too

I personally bought the Brutus travel rod for my trip last year. The rod is nicely made. Good thing for the buck but my only complaint would be it's more of a heavy to med heavy rod then med. I differently felt it after casting all day.

That's the only one I have for rods. I can't speak for any other rods. Do your own research here

I was gifted a shimano Exage 270 rod its more of a spinning rod but its 4 piece and has had carp to 14lb on it I use it with a old BR 3500 reel i had kicking about.
