Hi guys finally decided it's time for a rod upgrade. I've had my eye on the wolf rods either the x1k or x3k in either 3.25 or 3.5. I think the rods look great and seem to do everything I need them too. However I can't find much in the way of reviews from other people using them. Has anyone got any experience with these rods? What do you think? Any info would be great!

Oh really? Have you had personal experience with that? I saw one bloke had said he'd had an issue and there customer service was top notch. I am a bit worried about going with a relatively new unknown brand.

These guys did OK with Fox so I don't think you need to worry there!

Two of my mates have the 1k and 3k between them, as far as I know in 3.25lb. Both are really happy with them, in looks and in use. I will add neither are big casters, more your middle of the road guys. Both say casting and playing fish are good. The guy in my local shop who sold both sets says the 1k is the superior blank out of the two.

Yeah they had fox international right? I heard that also had some issues but I'm not positive.

Yeah I really like the look of the 1k. It seems that everyone who's bought them has kept very quite. Only seen reviews from places like carpolgy not from actual anglers. That good to hear your friends are happy with there's. I'm wondering if it might be a better choice to go with a set of Harrison's.

If they've put that Wolf logo on the top of the reel set I think they've narrowed their market at that price
