There was a lot of interest in these a while back. So, how are you all finding em, longterm now you've had them a while ?

NO Feed back ?? There was a few raving about these on initial purchase. Was hoping for great long term reviews. I like them, there well spec'd so on paper have a lot going for them. Just that longevity, was hoping for glowing reports in the long term ?

I'd also like to know about these reels if anyone could help. Just the weight put me off if it's the correct weight 750ish grams.

750gr, heavy if compared to Mag Techs but not against something like a 6000t at nearly 800gr.
Loads of people stated they had bought them when launched as they tick all the boxes. Must be some longterm user reports. You cant have ALL sold them on, surely

Used mine for 2 seasons on my previous syndicate paired with 13ft Aircurves. They behaved immaculately and are proper workhorses. Smooth as you like with a great clutch. I was hitting 150 yards easily. Don't worry about the weight as they spend 99% of their time on the rod supports anyway. Paired with my 13fters they were pretty well balanced. They are distance reels and should be used with high test curve 12ft or 13fters, which are pretty heavy. If you're not a tart then I'd take a serious look.

Have you found any negatives ? The weight doesn't bother me as I don't think there that heavy having had 6000Ts in the past.
Any issues with line going behind the spool ? I know they have the Velcro type protectors on the inside of the rotor to prevent that, is it effective?
Hows the clutch, seems silky smooth in the shop but in use ?

Had mine just over a year and they have been great. line lay excellent, clutch lovely and smooth. Downsides are the size (struggle to fit them in my Speero reel pouches) weight and lack of spare spool but the positives outweigh the negatives.
At £190 for 3 they really can't be faulted. I'd have a look at the Custom Black 60 and 80 as well before you buy.

The only downside is I have problems fitting them in my 3 rod Trakker 13ft holdall. Can't quite do the zip up, but I can live with that.
No problems with line going behind the spool.
