Quick question regarding using a Skull Cap on the Aquatexx Tempests?

How much does adding the Skull Cap reduce the amount of condensation?

It's stops condensation but only on the top of the bivvy the sides still get condensation

Only where the skull cap is will be condensation-free.

Best you can do is vent, an inner dome also helps and always see that your groundsheet fits well to your tent so that no cold can enter from under in your bivvy.

Whet cloth's and gas/olie heating is also a big no if you want to avoid condesation

I've never had a problem with condensation on other Bivvys and I've had quite a few over the years, but I was woken by condensation dripping all over me this morning from the roof of my Bivvy.
This is only the second time out with it... 🤔

Was the Tempest completely closed while sleeping?

I put my unhooking mat on top of my tempest brolly.

I never get condensation

Nope, had the front and rear vents open and a half groundsheet, stopped at a mates swim on the way home who had a Brolly V2 and no groundsheet and his was dry as a bone on the inside.
