Hi all
My 8 year old wants to come with me and do a day session. His big brother caught his first 20 last week, so he now wants to catch his first double
Any suggestions of where I could take him and guarantee regular action (8 yr attention span is very limited!!).
Willing to travel an hour and a bit from Bury St Edmunds

Try Hintlesham - the 'speci'2 has loads of high singles/low doubles plus a few good mid to upper 20's.
I went for a day back in January/February time and caught all day - from about 10-4.
It's close to Suffolk Water Park so i reckon 35 minutes from Bury.

How does the loyalty card thing work there? The website isn't very clear, suggests I need to buy a £20 loyalty card for both me and the boy before even paying for a day ticket. Could be £60 or more in for a quick day sesh???

Sorry mate - no idea!
When i fished it in the winter that wasn't needed - you just turned up and they came and collected the money.
Maybe give them a call.

You could try Cross Drove Fishery, a bury AA ticket which has a selection of waters, Suffolk Water Park Match lake or Traditional. They would be your best bet localish.
