Does anyone now which frequency (2.4ghz or 5.8ghz) of a bait boat handset is best to use with a Deeper Pro+?

Waverunner shuttle but I had to upgrade the handset to the SP tackle 2.4 AFHDS handset so I could use deeper mounted on the boat

So from what you have said the Shuttle needs a modification to the handset, but im assuming from reading the specs of the *NEW Atom and the Sport that with the 5.8ghz frequency handset they are already good to go?

No you buy a whole new complete flysky 2.4ghz AFHDS handset from SP tackle and fit a new unit in the boat if the boat has the older 2.4ghz handset . All the latest range or waverunner boats are 5.8ghz frequency which I think came about in late 2018 / 2019 onwards will have black handset with a LCD display screen and yes they are all good to go on that version

Normally the 2.4ghz are ok as they have multi channel hopping anyway to stop interference from other 2:4ghz boat users........

Did the deeper not work then????? Prehaps the older 2.4 handset didn't have this then 🤔

No on my lake reaper and shuttle which were both on 2.4 ghz frequncey and the frequncey on both boats clashed with the deeper
