I've been looking at a few sets of XTD's on eBay and other places and I've noticed that some reels have spools with a black rim and others with stainless.

Does anyone know the reason for this? Have Shimano changed the design or are they bought aftermarket?

they come with 2 spools,one silver trim and the other all black

Does anyone have any idea what price range a second hand set should fetch. The ones I've seen on eBay are around 350-380 which seems a bit steep to me as you can pick them up new for £420

you'll get a brand new set with ice washers for 390 from future fishing

Seen loads of sets go around 300 mark before Ebay check gumtree and tackle trader but make sure they come with spare spool people are breaking them down and selling reels and spools separately to maximize there return
