Hi everyone. New member here, dropping in to say hello and ask my first question.
Does anyone fish or have any info on Welham Lake in Leicestershire? I fished it a couple of times probably 10 or 12 years ago. Just interested if it is still fishable, just pitch up and wait for a bailiff etc.

It is syndicated now and like fort knox..! I understand it was netted and all silvers removed, then re-stocked, (was badly ottered). Couple of low 40's were introduced about 6/7 years ago from a lake down south, (legally mind) but i think there's only one of those left now.
Can't give you much more than that I'm afraid, heard it's owned by a guy from Leicester, fairly small syndicate, costs upwards of £700 per year.

Might nip over me have a look around though, see if I can get some contact details. £700 might be a bit beyond what I'd want to pay though. Still, with having a look.
