hi guys anybody put up their new quest outer block dpm bivvy yet?
think they were sent out this week.
was wondering your thoughts on the quality?
whats your impression of them?

I don't think the quality of the green version has been too good. There is a thread running somewhere on here about them

Set my green one up in the garden the day it arrived. One of the tabs that connects the front of the bivvy to the storm pole came away, plastic surround on female side of one of the leg joints was cracked, And the elastic in on of the front poles had snapped and the 2 ends tied together. The ground sheet isn't heavy duty and seems too big, the storm poles are flimsy. Overall I thought the quality was rather poor and not a patch on the Fox R Series XL I replaced it with at £255.

I recieved my DPM version yesterday.
I quickly set it up in the back garden and 1st impressions are very good.
The material is very thick (Thicker than my DPM4 from Cyprinus) and the inside of the Bivvy remains dark as.
The shelter went up very quick and I was surprised at how high it was (especially compared to the DPM4, which I love, but is a little low).
The groundsheet is of the heavy duty variety and zips in and out easily.
Once I get out in it (very busy in work), I'll let you know my opinions on the practical use of it.

Hello Gerry , gave it to my nephew , a few tabs were not stitched correctly which wasnt an issue but what was was the overall quality one side was very thick material the other alarmingly different ! Never checked it when i got it due to helping out in the village with deliveries etc due to virus , was really hoping it would be a success ,maybe i got a dodgy one and others are ok.
