Sorry if this sounds a stupid question anyone know what the actual difference is between the HI S Spomb and HI S Spod.

Always had a spot rod and been happy spombing with that.

I think the spod was the older model I could be wrong

I bought the spomb before lockdown and was told it has a slightly softer tip to aid accuracy.
