Also, what is the going rate for 2 used in excellent condition?

You can buy them new for £379 ,so second hand look at minus 50%

I had 3 Basia QDX reels for about 7 years, i used them almost every weekend they never let me down, these reels get a bad press saying they sound like coffee grinders ect. They need to be look after thats all. I dont get why people would spend £400plus on a reel abuse it then moan its sounds and feels rough.

Nice and light on your rod set up, awesome linelay a fantastic smooth clutch.

I very rarely use mine but appreciate them when I do, I think if you look at selling sites for a fair conditioned set of 3 around £600 is about standard more or less about half price of a new set.

Had my QDX for 8 years and never had any issues with them get them serviced every couple of years as a good practice and they will be fine, I sold them at the start of the year to get some of the new custom Basias and I got £750 for the tree so they hold there money

Youll get the same answers as below from people that have actually owned and used them and taken care of them. I had my basia qds for about 10 years, after buying them used, and they didnt put a foot wrong. They werent serviced in that time either
