Lads looking for a new reel for my carp rod, looking for some recommendations , My budget is 100€. I mostly float fish and stalk on small lakes ponds so not looking for big power casting reels but want a reel that can handle a big carp if i do hook one! Any help is appreciated.

Could try a Daiwa ninja 4000? Take the pink spool off and use the silver spare spool in the box, they're good for light work.

Around the £100 mark i would look at the diawa 1600 or the 2600 I use the 1600 for barbeling and stalking and if you need something a bit bigger you can get a 2600 had it years bullet proof
