anyone got a recommendation for VW camper insurance?

it's a LT28 made in 1976. Direct Line won't do it as it's a 'classic' vehicle. Moneysupermarket classes it as a van with only 1 company coming up - Insure Wiser

I would suggest asking on a VW Camper site or at a push try Adrian Flux they are specific van insurers 😷

Is it a splitscreen or bay 😷😷😷

Try A Plan in Thatcham as they have a department dedicated to VW campervan insurance and they are my go to broker ask for Dan who deals with the campervan policies there. Also had insurance by Adrian Flux and Brentacre. All 3 specialise in VW campervan insurance. Steer clear of the Direct Lines, Admirals of the world as most I have found won't quote or don't want to quote, if they do quote you they are always higher than the 3 that specialise.

Make sure you give them a full list of modifications to list on the policy, as many as you can think of as campervan insurance is specialist as very few campervans are identical so all have different values. I sent a few photos and got a fixed agreed value on mine together with a low mileage policy.

RV, yep direct line wouldn't touch it. Got a couple of options to follow up on and definitely looking at a low mileage approach.

Yes A Plan is the place to go, they specialise in vans with modifications etc
