Hi all I'm currently looking at this bivvy as it's way cheaper than the tf gear airflo 2 man
However can u still get spares for it like replacement tubes as I can't see anything anywhere
Also does anybody else have one in here what's your thoughts

If their will be any spares KP spares will have them they are the spares stockist for chub. Google their website for phone number if you want to check before you commit to buy one

I will have mine (2 man) in a day or 2, thursday I put it up next to my Nash Double top mk4 2man, will post some pic's on this forum then
Chub Airbrid weighs much more than Kampa / TF gear which can only be good
Unfortunately it seems that Chub quit, it was always a good brand that I rate higher than Fox,
Spare parts may be a problem in the future but there will be other ways to recover it, i'm trying to find a 2 man overwrap but not found one anywhere yet.
I will have mine (2 man) in a day or 2, thursday I put it up next to my Nash Double top mk4 2man, will post some pic's on this forum then

I've ordered mine decided to go for chub one overwrap is pretty pointless on this tbh as there won't be a gap between the bivvy and wrap which is the whole point of having a wrap

Not sure on the chub version ?
but on the Kampa the raised air beam tubes do indeed make an air gap also obviously a wrap gives you more room and more insulation

Yeah I just got back from the channel where we have set it up
Not a bad bivvy, material quality is good, groundsheet was a bit of a disappointment I thought you could fix this with the pegs but that is not
Compared to the Nash double top mk4 2 man the airbrid is alot bigger, although I do not think you can set up and dismantle the Airbid faster compared to a Bivvy with rib system
Bedchair on sides (80cm wide) give you 110Cm space in the middle, but for my wife and 2 kids and or dog not big enough, put them up for sale on facebook and already have a buyer
We gonne buy the Trakker superdome with single inner capsule, or i keep my Nash double top MK4 2 man and buy the Porch with groundsheet.

Cloth material on DT is 20,000 much darker during the day in the bivvy, Double top has an inner capsule and enough space for 2 men
Chub airbrid is not a bad bivvy but I see no benefit in inflatable because it is no faster to set and break up.

Tbh I found it alot quicker to put up and take down tbh than ribbed system only issue I had was leak of air on the poles that go front to back did u find this
However I think u fixed that issue

By the time all the air is out, I have already disassembled the poles on my Double top
There was no air leak, maybe not all air poles were tightened enough

Hi. Just got one and it is great. Bit bigger than I expected. It kept deflating but found a couple of loose threaded discs in the roof couplings. Tightened and now airtight😊
